Generousity in Mutual Mindsets?

Pls Listen to God’s Silent Message:

Why not be generous in commending someone?

“What could be more simpler than giving a cup of water?” — Jesus

How would we like to know?
… na ‘yong taong kausap natin kanina, sobrang nag-effort sya to give out his best to a certain task na alam nyang pwedeng maging of-service to whoever would be in need of. And to his mind, he exerted his effort kasi gusto nya makapagpasaya: “A way to feel great” — sabi nya pa sa sarili nya! He would be fulfilled kapag merong naging satisfied or na-bless dahil sa ginawa nya. 😊

Then here we go, isa tayo sa mga taong gusto nyang mapasaya J. Yet as natural as usual, not all of us could feel for him — the way he does for us. In other words, “sometimes, feelings are not mutual” 😒

ONE REALITY that we need to make ourselves ON-GUARD of when others deserve some feedback: some of us, “dedma lang” just because “it’s the person na ‘di natin feel”; to some, “wala lang” just because “di tayo maka-relate”; and even so, some of us are like those disciples in today’s gospel when they were admonished by Jesus for feeling upset that others are also doing something for a good cause:

“Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name,
and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us.”
Jesus replied, “Do not prevent him…
For whoever is not against us is for us.”

Criticism OR Rejoice – what do we usually have in our heart?
Preventing someone from doing good may lead others to sorrow because we could hinder the flow of inspiration that would drive others away from committing sin.

“what could be more simpler than giving a cup of water
to someone who deserve a reward?”

How would we like to know then?
… that someone’s world could “Rak’n’Roll” … just because we commended HIS/HER effort on “aiming for greatness”!
THAT IMPACT @ that “feelings turned MUTUAL” moment when we recognize someone for “being great” would make that person & US one of the 99% Christians who answered God’s call to A VOW OF GENEROSITY – only then would blessings in other areas of our life ABUNDANTLY FLOW!
